UX/UI Designer

I turn complex user journeys into clear interfaces, and I always keep the developers in mind, so what ships is what I designed.

Projects

  1. Nora & 911 PizzaOrdering Experience Audit

A UX audit of ordering and switching between Khayrat’s restaurant brands. I started with a real pickup order from 911 Pizza, then supported my review with three user sessions on Nora and a comparison of six apps. The work resulted in 12 prioritized recommendations and before-and-after designs illustrating the proposed improvements.

  2. Balaghat 940Report Category Selection

A usability study of the category selection screen in "Balaghat 940," a Saudi municipal reporting app. Five sessions tested whether users can reach the correct category without prior knowledge — and produced a research-led redesign direction.

  3. UlomRole-Based Editorial Dashboard

A 0-to-1 product design for the internal administrative dashboard of "Ulom," an Arabic science publishing platform. The project required translating a complex editorial workflow into a logical, role-based interface.

Methodology

Each step comes with a project where I applied it.

  1. Research before design

I start with the users and the problem, not the screen: what they need, and where they struggle today.

  2. Information architecture first

A complex flow gets simpler when each role sees only what it needs.

  3. Test with real users

My opinion alone isn't enough. I run usability tests and watch real users go through the flow.

  4. Design for the handoff

My coding background helps me design what can actually be built, with a clear design system and a clean developer handoff.

  5. Evaluate after launch

Launch isn't the end. I check what worked and what needs fixing.

About

I'm #Natheer, a Computer Science graduate. My design story started with my graduation project, and I sharpened it at Tuwaiq Academy.

I like complex problems: a multi-step workflow, or a dashboard with several user roles. I break them down until they're clear to anyone who uses them.

My coding background has me thinking about developers from day one: what's technically feasible, and what the handoff needs to document, so what I design is what users actually get.

Outside projects, I write a series on UX principles and make free resources for the Arabic design community.
